Midnight City Lights

In mid 2014, I made a furry character out of my plague doctor medic in Team Fortress 2. Several months later I named him after my favorite song, Midnight City. In early 2015, I got a medic unusual with the Disco Beat Down effect, which gives a glow and light orbs like in this image, which I incorporated into his (at the time) still unfinished character. I traded said hat away to help build up my pyro set, but I always missed having it. I just got a new DBD medic hat and I'm thrilled! It's been 2 years and Midnight has really grown a lot, becoming a character I draw a lot and even have gotten art of from others. He means a lot to me, so I wanted to draw him with his light orbs. They remind him of his home where light is sacred. Edit- Now in 2019, I have the original hat/combo back instead of the robo version. He's really complete now.

Took about 3 hours and I did a little playing with layers and effects. Over all, I had a lot of fun with it and I'm really happy with how it came out.
